Title: Vice President

The primary role of the Vice President is to support the company's acquisitions, asset management, and capital raising efforts. In this capacity, the individual works with senior management to source, underwrite, and manage new real estate investments. The Vice President also assists in other areas of the company as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of the company’s investment strategies.
- Oversee the due diligence/underwriting process on potential new investments.
- Prepare Investment Committee memorandums describing potential new investments and participate in the presentations to the Investment Committee.
- Develop and maintain financial models.
- Prepare financial analyses of various investment decisions, such as leasing, financing, and buy/sell decisions.
- Negotiate and/or review joint venture operating agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and loan documents.
- Prepare and effectively analyze market data/research.
- Execute business plans for new investments with minimal supervision.
- Review property reports and track operating performance relative to pro forma, forecasts, asset strategies, and investment targets, and prepare summaries and present results.
- Review financials for factual accuracy and consistency.
- Assist with capital raising presentations and other investor relations requests.
- Supervise and provide formal and informal training to junior level staff.
- Perform all other duties as required.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of related commercial real estate experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or another related field.
- Advanced financial modeling experience at the property level.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, modeling, and valuation, and the ability to use financial and valuation software including Excel.
- Experience negotiating with joint venture partners and lenders.
- Experience managing the due diligence, acquisitions, financing, and closing process of investments at the property level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
- Excellent critical thinking, judgment, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills (i.e. able to find acceptable solutions to business challenges).
- Outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility in regard to taking on duties and responsibilities more typically expected from junior staff or senior leadership, depending on circumstance.
- Highly developed sense of responsibility and initiative, and an appreciation for accuracy and detail.
- Experienced in delivering presentations to senior management, investment committees, and clients.
- Demonstrated understanding of terms and concepts pertaining to finance, as well as healthcare and commercial real estate.
- Experience performing market research.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position may have direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This position primarily operates in a corporate office environment and involves occasional travel to, and working from, the company’s various assets and offices.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, and hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting objects is periodically required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, FLSA-exempt position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week during standard business hours. Additional work outside of standard business hours is also required.
Travel:
This position requires frequent out of state overnight travel to locations including client and asset sites, other company office locations, and conferences.
