ABOUT THE ROLE

A globally active investment and corporate banking platform is seeking a Vice President-level Credit Officer to join its Project Finance coverage team, with a dedicated focus on data center financing. This role sits within a specialized credit function supporting complex, large-scale infrastructure transactions across the U.S. The position offers strong exposure to front-office deal teams, structured finance transactions, and high-growth digital infrastructure assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead credit underwriting and approval processes for project finance transactions within the data center sector
  • Evaluate structured financing opportunities, including debt sizing, repayment profiles, and project cash flow modeling
  • Conduct detailed credit analysis of sponsors, developers, and counterparties involved in infrastructure and digital asset projects
  • Assess risk factors including construction risk, operational risk, market demand, and long-term asset viability
  • Review and challenge transaction structures proposed by front-office deal teams to ensure alignment with credit risk appetite
  • Prepare credit memos and present recommendations to internal credit committees and senior risk stakeholders
  • Monitor portfolio exposures within data center and broader infrastructure-related financing
  • Collaborate closely with origination, structuring, legal, and risk teams throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks
