    VP, AI Strategy and Client Engagement

    The VP, AI Strategy and Client Engagement serves as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them understand, adopt, and realize value from Fidelity's AI capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of product management, AI innovation, client consulting, and business strategy.

    The successful candidate will translate complex AI capabilities into clear business outcomes, communicate Fidelity's AI vision and roadmap, gather client feedback and market insights, and partner with Product, Engineering, Client Engagement, and business teams to ensure client needs influence the evolution of our AI solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    AI Strategy, Client Advisory, and Relationship Management

    • Serve as a primary client-facing representative for Fidelity's AI strategy and solutions, translating complex AI concepts into practical business outcomes, client value propositions, and articulating governance approach and product roadmap.

    • Lead strategic discussions and represent Fidelity with client executives, consultants, and industry partners regarding AI trends, opportunities, risks, and business transformation.

    • Gather client feedback, emerging challenges, market intelligence, and competitive insights to influence AI product strategy and prioritize client solutions.

    • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and strategic partners, while acting as the voice of the client within Fidelity's AI organization.

    • Support client onboarding and adoption of AI-enabled capabilities, which may include workshops, strategy sessions, and executive reviews focused on AI transformation opportunities.

    • Address client questions regarding AI governance, security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI practices.

    Product Management and Market Insights

    • Develop business cases and value narratives that demonstrate measurable outcomes from AI investments.

    • Help define product positioning, adoption strategies, and go-to-market approaches for AI solutions.

    • Develop executive-level presentations, white papers, and client-facing content related to AI strategy, positioning Fidelity as a leader in responsible and innovative AI adoption.

    • Contribute to industry discussions around AI governance, risk management, and client value creation.

    Cross-Functional Leadership

    • Collaborate closely with AI product teams, engineering, architecture, legal, compliance, risk, and security partners to ensure client perspectives are incorporated into product planning and strategic decision-making, while meeting Fidelity standards and practices.

    • Coordinate communication between internal AI teams and external stakeholders.

    • Support executive leadership with client insights, industry trends, and strategic recommendations.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Financial Services , Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

    • 10 plus years of experience in product management, strategy, consulting, client engagement, or technology leadership.

    • Demonstrated experience communicating complex technology solutions to executive audiences.

    • Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, generative AI, and digital transformation trends, as well as risk, privacy, and regulatory considerations.

    • Experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives, including launching or managing AI-enabled products.

    • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.

    • Ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused discussions.

    • Proven ability to build credibility with senior executives and strategic clients.

    Travel ~30%

    Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
    Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

    The base salary range for this position is $125,000-258,000 USD per year.  

    Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

    Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
