Job Summary:

Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, VA has an opportunity available for an experienced CRNA to join our team as a Vice Chief. This role will partner with the Chief CRNA to lead and supervise a dedicated group of anesthesia professionals, align facility goals with divisional objectives, and ensure optimal patient care delivery. Johnston-Willis Hospital offer a diverse case mix of Complex Neuro/Spine, OB, Ortho, Urology, GYN, GI & General cases.

Qualifications:
  • Effective communication skills and comfort interacting with all levels of the organization.
  • 5 years of leadership experience in a large facility, including at least 1 year of change-management experience, strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university and successful completion of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
  • Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the AANA/NBCRNA required.
  • Active licensure with current ACLS, BLS certification required.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage scheduling and maintain efficient perioperative workflow.
  • Collaborate with leadership to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Oversee recruitment efforts for quality APPs in collaboration with recruitment teams.
  • Supervise and evaluate staff APPs and RRNAs, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
