Position Summary:

Our providers work across state-of-the-art facilities built to support exceptional care for patients and their families.
A cornerstone of Akron Children''s continued growth is its Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. The department provides comprehensive, evidence-based care across schools, primary care, specialty pediatric settings, inpatient services, and outpatient programs. Our state-of-the-art psychiatric facility includes a crisis stabilization unit and supports a broad range of behavioral health services for children and adolescents with diverse mental health needs.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Chair of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health to advance a robust research infrastructure that complements the department''s expanding clinical services. Key responsibilities include building and leading research teams, mentoring junior faculty and trainees, and guiding the strategic development of behavioral health research and educational programs. The candidate will secure a faculty appointment at the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), a competitive salary with benefits, and an start-up package.
