Our client is a leading noise and vibration control specialist serving aerospace, automotive, industrial, and defense industries is seeking a Vibration Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team, tackling resonance, fatigue, and noise challenges across cutting-edge applications from aircraft fuselages to satellite systems .

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform vibration and modal analysis using FEA, SEA, or experimental modal testing to characterize structural resonances.

    • Design and optimize custom passive damping systems for aerospace components (e.g., aircraft skins, satellites), industrial equipment, and automotive parts

    • Collaborate with Material Science and Manufacturing teams to select appropriate materials and damping configurations .

    • Create technical reports, including test plans, design verification, loss factor estimations, and compliance documentation.

    • Support R&D and New Product Introduction (NPI), iterating designs based on test feedback and simulation results.

    • Provide technical consultation to clients, addressing vibration issues and recommending tailored solutions.

    • Participate in cross-functional teams to integrate damping systems into OEM designs or retrofit projects across regulated sectors.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, or related engineering field.

    • 3+ years of experience in vibration/structural dynamics, modal analysis, or damping system design.

    • Proficient with FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Nastran), vibration analysis software, and hands-on testing.

    • Solid understanding of viscoelastic behavior, damping ratio, loss factor, and resonance mitigation techniques .

    • Demonstrated experience with passive damping systems: tuned mass dampers, constrained-layer damping, isolator mounts.

    • Strong analytical problem-solving, report-writing, and client communication skills
