Vibration Asset Specialist

Position Title: Vibration Asset Specialist - Englewood CO

Purpose:

The Vibration Asset Specialist is responsible for managing multiple Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs, including both route-based and remotely monitored wireless and online systems. This role involves providing high-level support to our customers both remotely and on-site. Responsibilities also include offering support for cloud-hosted applications, performing on-site balancing, conducting laser alignment, and troubleshooting machinery in-depth. The specialist works across various industries, including but not limited to biopharmaceuticals, power, water treatment, manufacturing, central utilities, and mining.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct independent vibration analysis using Full Spectrum Analyzer and Vibration Analysis software.
• Deliver accurate and timely analysis reports that enable proactive maintenance and reduce machinery downtime detrimental to customer ROI.
• Oversees multiple PdM program databases, ensuring all are up-to-date and effectively managed, including reporting databases.
• Enhance machinery reliability and performance, leading to increased customer satisfaction and reduced operational costs.
• Ensures effective communication between Analyst and Customer and protects the quality of the outcome in reporting.
• Provide both on-site and remote troubleshooting support; assist customers and peers with problem resolution.
• Build strong relationships with customers, enhancing service delivery and facilitating the renewal and expansion of service contracts.

Skills/Qualifications:
• Certified Level II Vibration Analyst required
• Certified Level III Vibration Analyst preferred
• Certified Level II Thermography preferred
• Experience with Dynamic component Balancing and Laser Shaft Alignment preferred
• Experience/knowledge of Route-Based Predictive Maintenance preferred
• Proficient in using vibration analysis tools, software, hardware and general understanding of servers and networks.
• Industry experience with the use of AMS Software/Hardware preferred
• Experience working with Bentley Nevada Software/Hardware preferred
• Experience with Wireless/wired Machinery vibration data collection required
• Experience with Online Prediction and Protection Systems preferred
• Experience with Remote Monitoring concepts required
• Experience conducting Acceptance Testing (Natural Frequencies/Sound/Specs) preferred

Competencies:
• Ability to deliver technical expertise in many different technologies and applications around Machinery Health and optimization.
• Ability to analyze data from Vibration to Operational, focused on machinery and machinery processes.
• Must exhibit a high level of communication proficiency with peers and customers. Ability to convey expert opinion intelligently.
• Must be able to adapt to any situation with regard to machinery health, customer-facing, and internal messaging.
• Must be competent and able to service our customers in the field at any moment with the expertise becoming of a Senior Analyst/Cat III.
• Must be highly competent in practical and course vibration training.
• Additional Machinery Health certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Working Conditions:
• Work Environment: Primarily from a home office; periodic visits to customer sites, which may have varying environmental conditions and demanding physical requirements. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and perform physical activities such as climbing ladders and working in confined spaces. Ability to operate safely in plant and industrial environments.

Travel Requirements: Regular local travel (75%) and occasional travel within the larger territory (25%).

Compensation: Base rate range:

Level II Vibration Analyst: $35.81 - $42.52
Level III Vibration Analyst : $38.16 - $53.77
Work experience, industry knowledge, and unique skills will be taken into consideration when setting the base wage.

Other Variable Compensation: Eligible for additional incentive compensation, including a quarterly sales bonus, an annual sales escalation payment, and an annual profit share
