As a Viasat Government Aftermarket Services Logistics Program Manager, you are responsible for coordinating and integrating all facets of product sustainment support activities. You will work in a dynamic environment to accomplish the current contract scope. You will also collaborate with service teams, internal customers, Program Management, Contracts, Finance, suppliers, and external customers. You will plan and implement support strategies that coordinate all aspects of Support Services. These include the Network Operations Center, Logistics Engineering, Reliability, and several Viasat locations.

You will apply your leadership ability to develop and refine product support strategies, improve processes, and coordinate with suppliers to complete contract scope. Your logistics experience will be used to implement depot repair strategies, conduct sparing analyses, manage supply support, and support product end-of-life activities.

The day-to-day

  • Lead for all business area sustainment activities
  • Manage the cross functional Aftermarket Services Integrated Product Team (IPT)
  • Collaborate with suppliers to manage existing and establish alternate sources of supply, including establishment of contractual terms (SOW / PSA).
  • Accountable for Aftermarket financial performance
  • Develop and complete business development plans aligned with financial forecasts
  • Facilitating communication between Programs and Operations, including the introduction of new products and upgrades
  • Develop Product Support Plans and sustainment program strategies
  • Coordinate all supply support activities, including service parts logistics and spares management
  • Manage product End of Life activities
  • Support internal and customer facing program reviews and sustainment meetings

What you'll need

  • US Citizen
  • 10+ years of experience managing sustainment support and After Market Services scope activities for DoD customers
  • Demonstrated Repair Management, Sustainment Support, Integrated Logistics Support, or Logistics Program Management activities
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and facilitation skills
  • Strong Program Management and customer interface skills
  • Experience in organizing, developing, and leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience presenting / interfacing with senior-level executives on routine business situations (Program Management Reviews)
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience collaborating with customer service, product support, field service, test engineering, and reliability engineering
  • Experience supporting proposals, statements of work, basis of estimates, and other contracts and agreement documents
  • Experience with the DoD acquisition process and developing sustainment agreements
  • Experience establishing sustainment contracts with international customers desired
  • Experience working on Program of Record programs in support of Program Management Office activities
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • Active DOD Security Clearance

What will help you on the job

  • Performance Based Logistics (PBL) experience desired
  • Experience with Oracle, SAP, other ERP/MRP systems, Salesforce, Tableau, or Service Now

Salary range

$120,500.00 - $190,000.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $149,500.00- $224,500.00/ annually
