    About the Role

    Hawthorn Vet is looking for our next Vet Nurse superstar to join our team.

    What We're Looking For

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
    • Minimum 2 years' hands-on clinic experience
    • Strong clinical and surgical nursing skills, including:
    • Blood collection, IV catheter placement, intubation, anaesthetic monitoring
    • In-house lab processing (bloods, urinalysis, cytology)
    • Nurse consults (nail clips, anal glands, triage, first aid, history taking)

    What We Offer

    Work-Life Balance

    • Weekdays: 8:00am- 6:30pm
    • Saturdays: 8:00am- 1:00pm (on a rotation)
    • Closed Sundays & public holidays
    • No after-hours (we refer emergencies)

    Supportive & Experienced Team

    • 3 vets and 6 nurses
    • 2-3 vets and 4-5 nurses rostered daily
    • Head Vet with 20 years' experience
    • Supportive and flexible Practice Manager focused on team satisfaction
