Veterinary Technician
Location: Tulsa, Ok
Pay: $17/hour+ DOE
Schedule: 3-4 days per week | 10-12 hour shifts
Position Summary
Join a dedicated team at a well-established emergency veterinary hospital serving the Greater Tulsa area. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Technician to provide exceptional emergency and critical care for canine and feline patients while assisting with diagnostics, treatments, patient monitoring, and client communication in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the care and monitoring of emergency and critical care patients
Support veterinarians during diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures
Perform laboratory tests, digital radiology, CT scans, and ultrasounds
Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure a clean, well-stocked treatment environment
Communicate effectively with pet owners in urgent or emotional situations
Qualifications:
Certified Veterinary Technician (or equivalent experience)
Previous experience in emergency or specialty care preferred
Strong technical and multitasking skills
Ability to remain calm and compassionate in high-pressure situations
Flexible availability for evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
