Outpatient Care Veterinary Technician to join our team.
This position is designed for a technician who enjoys
client interaction, wellness care, sick visits, follow-ups, patient education, and working closely with veterinarians in the exam room.

ABOUT THE POSITIONThe
Outpatient Care Veterinary Technician is an important part of the client and patient experience.
You will work primarily in the
exam room and outpatient setting, partnering with veterinarians to keep appointments moving efficiently while providing excellent patient care and client communication.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with wellness exams, sick visits, and follow-up appointments
- Obtaining patient histories and gathering important information for the veterinarian
- Performing venipuncture, sample collection, and diagnostic testing
- Assisting veterinarians with examinations and procedures
- Anticipating the veterinarian's needs during appointments
- Providing clear and compassionate client education
- Discussing preventive care, treatment recommendations, medications, and follow-up instructions
- Helping clients understand their pet's care plan
- Maintaining accurate medical records and appropriate charges
- Keeping exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready for patients
- Helping maintain efficient patient flow throughout the hospital
- Communicating effectively with veterinarians, technicians, kennel technicians, and client relations
- Providing a positive, professional experience for every client and patient

We are especially interested in technicians who are:
CVTs or eligible for certification- Experienced veterinary technicians
- Experienced in outpatient and general practice
- Comfortable educating clients and discussing preventive care
- Interested in growing their technical and communication skills

We are looking for someone who wants to be an active, engaged member of the team—not someone who simply wants a job.
SCHEDULEFull-Time | Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.;
Saturdays (alternating) 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
No Sundays or holidays
Saturday availability is required.
