Registered Veterinary Technician or Senior Veterinary Assistant – Oncology

Compensation: RVT $30–$40/hr | Senior Veterinary Assistant $26–$34/hr
Up to $2,000 Sign-On Bonus available for qualified applicants! Relocation assistance also available for qualified candidates.

Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility for scheduling Monday–Saturday required

Being a Veterinary Technician on the Dublin Oncology team gives you the opportunity to expand your skillset while working alongside board-certified Oncologists, allowing you to truly practice at the top of your license.

In your day-to-day, you will:

  • Assist veterinarians in oncology procedures and treatments
  • Monitor patients during chemotherapy and radiation therapy sessions
  • Provide compassionate care and support to both patients and their owners
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and prepare samples for analysis
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with protocols
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture

What You Bring

  • High school diploma
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry; RVT license preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and confidentiality and discretion where appropriate
  • Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations
  • Ability to maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP), obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into this role (waived if you hold a valid CA-RVT license)
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care
