Portland Vet Stroudwater is open and growing! We re looking for a skilled, collaborative licensed or credentialed veterinary technician to join our team and help shape the future of our new general practice.

As an early member of our growing team, you ll have a unique opportunity to influence our culture, workflows, and patient care while helping us build something exceptional together.

The Details

• Full-time | Monday Thursday, 7:30 AM 6:00 PM
• No weekends or major holidays
• Schedule may evolve as the practice grows to include some Saturdays
• $24 $32/hour, based on experience and licensure
• Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus, based on experience and licensure

What You ll Do

Use your skills to provide outstanding care while partnering with our veterinarians and growing team:

• Support exams, diagnostics, anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry
• Perform laboratory work, venipuncture, and catheter placement
• Provide excellent patient care and client education
• Support patient flow and appointment coordination
• Collaborate with teammates to improve workflows and best practices

Who We re Looking For

We re looking for someone who is skilled, compassionate, collaborative, and excited to be part of a growing practice.

• LVT/CVT/RVT preferred; highly experienced veterinary assistants may also be considered
• Experience with anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable with practice management software and diagnostic equipment
• Takes initiative, supports teammates, and brings a positive attitude
• Excited to help build an exceptional team culture
