Fillmore Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full -time Surgical RVT, Technician, or experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We’re a well -established, family -owned practice with deep roots in the Colorado Springs community, known for our supportive culture and commitment to high -quality care.

What you’ll be part of:<\/b>
<\/p>

  • Companion animal practice with some exotics (pocket pets, rabbits, small reptiles)
    <\/li>
  • 4 DVMs supported by a strong technician and assistant team
    <\/li>
  • 6 exam rooms and a dedicated surgery suite
    <\/li>
  • In -house diagnostics: digital x -ray, dental x -ray, ultrasound, Idexx lab, Zoetis Imagyst
    <\/li>
  • Surgery 3–4 days/week (dentals, spay/neuter, mass removals, and more advanced procedures)
    <\/li>
  • Mix of wellness, surgery, urgent care, and chronic case management
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Your role:<\/b>
    <\/div>
    This is a hands -on position where technicians are truly valued. You’ll work at the top of your license—supporting anesthesia, managing surgical patients, educating clients, and playing a key role in patient care from start to finish.

    What we’re looking for:<\/b>

    • Surgical experience preferred
      <\/li>
    • Self -starter with strong communication skills
      <\/li>
    • Passion for patient care and client education
      <\/li>
    • Team -oriented mindset and positive attitude
      <\/li><\/ul>

      Schedule:<\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Full -time: 4 -day work week (10 -hour shifts)
        <\/li>
      • Monday–Friday hours, no weekends
        <\/li>
      • Surgery shifts start at 7:15 AM
        <\/li><\/ul>

        Compensation & Benefits:<\/b>
        <\/p>

        • $19–$23/hour
          <\/li>
