Ohana Pet Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.

In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

This is a flexible, full-time or part-time position, with a 5/8 or 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday. Saturdays required

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

  • Compensation: $20-23 per hour, for each hour worked*
  • Bonus package: $500 for those with 3+ years of consecutive, current veterinary experience

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

  • 1+ years of veterinary receptionist / veterinary front desk experience required
  • Proficiency in the following skills:
    • Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
    • Experience working with veterinary practice management software preferred
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
    • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
    • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
    • Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
