    Overview
    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in veterinary care and management, ensuring that our practice runs smoothly while providing exceptional service to our clients and their beloved pets. This role requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for animal welfare.

    Duties

    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the veterinary practice, ensuring efficiency and high-quality care.
    • Supervise and train staff members in best practices for animal care and customer service.
    • Oversee scheduling, inventory management, and supply orders to maintain optimal clinic functionality.
    • Facilitate communication between veterinarians, staff, and clients to enhance service delivery.
    • Maintain accurate records of patient care, treatments, and procedures performed.
    • Implement policies and procedures to improve clinic operations and client satisfaction.
    • Stay updated on veterinary terminology and advancements in animal husbandry practices.
    • Ability to troubleshoot computer and hospital equipment on an as needed basis.

    Experience

    • Proven experience in a veterinary setting is essential; prior management experience is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with animal handling techniques, including animal catheterization and critical care protocols.
    • Knowledge of laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine.
    • Strong understanding of veterinary terminology to effectively communicate with staff and clients.
    • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel. It will also be necessary to become proficient in the use of practice management software.

    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
