The Role
- Lead medical quality, protocols, and patient care standards across the practice
- Provide high-quality clinical care in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry
- See a varied caseload, including dogs, cats, and pocket pets/exotics
- Guide clinical offerings such as specialty testing and regenerative therapies
- Mentor and develop veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
- Partner with practice leadership on workflow, scheduling, and client experience
- Ensure regulatory compliance and a culture of safety
- Typical daytime schedule with flexibility; no overnight on-call, with after-hours emergencies referred

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent
- Active Oregon veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain) and DEA
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Proven skills in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry; exotics experience or interest is a plus
- Strong communication, client education, and leadership abilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and team collaboration
