A veterinary specialty practice is seeking a Veterinary Internist to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about internal medicine, enjoys managing complex medical cases, and values collaboration, continuous learning, and high-quality patient care.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of internal medicine cases.
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Perform and interpret advanced diagnostic procedures within the scope of practice.
Collaborate with specialists, emergency clinicians, and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and prognoses with clients and referring veterinarians.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Participate in case discussions, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Uphold the highest standards of medical quality, patient safety, and client service.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification or board eligibility in Veterinary Internal Medicine.
Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
