About You:
The Hospital Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day operations of the hospital, ensuring exceptional patient care, outstanding client service, and a positive, collaborative work environment. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to the hospital team while ensuring they have the resources, support, and guidance needed to deliver the highest standard of veterinary care.
Our ideal candidate has 3+ years of leadership experience, preferably within a veterinary general practice setting, and possesses the critical thinking, operational expertise, and problem-solving skills essential to a fast-paced veterinary hospital.
In this role, you will lead the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, and team development. You will foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous learning by coaching employees, providing regular feedback, and creating individualized development plans that support both personal and professional growth.
The Hospital Manager partners closely with fellow Hospital Managers across the region to share best practices, improve workflows, and drive operational efficiencies while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care and client satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Area Director, you will collaborate to establish and achieve operational, financial, and strategic goals that support the continued success and growth of your hospital.
Compensation:
$70,000-$80,000 annually based on experience.
Schedule:
This is a full-time, salaried position.
The hospital manager should expect to be on site 5 days per week between 40-45 hours.
