    Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Specialist

     

    A specialty and emergency veterinary hospital is seeking a Critical Care Veterinarian to join its collaborative emergency and critical care team. This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced critical care medicine in a modern facility while working alongside experienced emergency clinicians and specialists.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Provide critical care and intensive treatment for hospitalized and emergency patients

    • Perform advanced diagnostics and develop treatment plans for critically ill animals

    • Manage ICU cases and oversee patient monitoring and stabilization

    • Collaborate with emergency veterinarians, specialists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care

    • Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding treatment options and patient progress

    • Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation 

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university

    • Board-certified or residency-trained in veterinary critical care

    • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in emergency and critical care medicine

    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

    • Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning
