    Veterinary Dentistry Specialist – Specialty Hospital

     

    A specialty and emergency veterinary hospital is seeking a Veterinary Dentist to join its collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced dental and oral care while working alongside experienced specialists and emergency clinicians in a well-equipped hospital environment dedicated to high-quality patient care.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Diagnose and treat dental and oral health conditions in animal patients

    • Perform dental procedures including extractions, oral surgery, and advanced dental treatments

    • Utilize diagnostic tools such as dental radiography and advanced imaging

    • Develop treatment plans and provide follow-up care for dental patients

    • Collaborate with specialists and emergency veterinarians to ensure comprehensive patient care

    • Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative dental care

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university

    • Training or experience in veterinary dentistry

    • Strong clinical skills in dentistry and oral surgery

    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
