    Veterinary Criticalist (DVM) – Springfield, OR

     

    An established emergency and specialty veterinary hospital in Springfield, OR is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Criticalist to join a highly experienced team in a modern, state-of-the-art facility. This is an excellent opportunity to practice advanced critical care in a collaborative environment that prioritizes high-quality medicine, team support, and professional growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide advanced critical care and emergency treatment for small animal patients
    • Manage complex ICU cases and oversee patient stabilization and monitoring
    • Collaborate closely with emergency clinicians and support staff
    • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, including CT and in-house laboratory systems
    • Communicate effectively with clients regarding critical care plans and outcomes
    • Participate in case discussions and contribute to a strong learning environment

    Qualifications:

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
    • Board-certified (DACVECC) or residency-trained in emergency and critical care
    • Strong clinical and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
    • Team-oriented with a collaborative and positive approach
    • Excellent communication and client care skills
