Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

What You’ll Do:
• Drive Educational Innovation: Manage our ECC Trainee Technician’s, training of new ECC hires, Nursing Internships, and volunteer coordination.
• Modernize Learning: Utilize cutting-edge digital tracking tools to set top-tier clinical standards.
• Mentor & Lead: Provide hands-on coaching, lead technician continuing education, guide staff toward VTS certification, and support seasoned VTS technicians with ongoing career advancement.

Ready to elevate your passion for ECC into a career-defining leadership role?

Candidates selected for in-person interviews will participate in a structured assessment process designed to evaluate communication skills, clinical expertise, teaching ability, and alignment with the educational mission of the role. The interview process will consist of:
• Panel interview and behavioral-based questions
• A brief teaching demonstration (approximately 5-10 minutes) on either an ECC-related topic or a unrelated topic of your choice.
• A communication-based practical exercise designed to assess coaching and instructional skills
Candidates will receive additional details and preparation instructions prior to the interview.

Expected Salary:

$30 - $34 based on credentialing and experience, plus up to 30% differentials

  
Preferred
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT)
  • Veterinary Technician Specialist in Emergency & Critical Care (VTS-ECC)
  • Experience developing educational programs, onboarding frameworks, competency-based learning pathways, or staff development initiatives.
  • Experience applying adult learning principles within a clinical, academic, or healthcare environment.
  • Experience developing and maintaining competency tracking systems, skills matrices, educational documentation, or training metrics.
  • Experience presenting continuing education programs, facilitating workshops, or speaking at professional conferences.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within a veterinary teaching hospital, specialty practice, emergency hospital, or academic setting.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continued professional growth, credentialing, specialization, and advancement of veterinary nursing.
