Carlson Animal Hospital

Oak Park, IL

Part-Time: Tuesday, Wednesday AM, Thursday PM, Friday, rotating Saturdays (7:30 AM to 1:00 PM), additional hours available to cover vacations and team absences

We are a close-knit team that enjoys working together, supporting one another, and caring for pets and the families who love them.

Carlson Animal Hospital is seeking a friendly, compassionate, and organized Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. As the first and last point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience for pets and their families while supporting our veterinary team.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients with professionalism and compassion
• Answer phones, emails, and client inquiries
• Schedule and confirm appointments and surgeries
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Process payments and review invoices with clients
• Assist with prescription and food order requests
• Educate clients on preventive care, hospital services, and pet wellness products
• Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to ensure excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required
• Veterinary hospital experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using computers and practice management software
• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail

Compensation

Pay is competitive and based on experience and qualifications with a range of $17-20/hr.
