Description
Key Responsibilities
Provide compassionate patient care and assist veterinarians and RVTs with examinations, treatments, and procedures
Prepare patients for surgeries and procedures, including surgical prep, equipment setup, and anesthesia monitoring
Safely restrain patients and perform clinical tasks, including IV catheter placement and administering injections
Monitor hospitalized patients and ensure their comfort, safety, and overall well-being
Assist with radiology, laboratory diagnostics, and other in-house procedures as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment and surgical environment
Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to provide efficient, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital
About You
Minimum 3 years Veterinary Assistant experience
Strong communicator who demonstrates honesty, compassion, respect, and accountability
Client-focused with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and collaborate with a large veterinary team
Able to prioritize tasks and maintain a high standard of patient care in a busy hospital setting
