Veterinary Assistant / Technician

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Pay: $19.00-$22.00/hour (dependent upon experience and education)
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Weekend Requirement: Rotating Saturdays, 8:00 AM-12:30 PM
Schedule Adjustment: Team members working Saturday receive a half day during the week

As our Veterinary Assistant / Veterinary Technician, you'll play an important role in delivering outstanding patient care while supporting wellness visits, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, nursing care, and client education. Whether you're an experienced Veterinary Assistant looking to expand your skills or a newer Veterinary Technician eager to grow your career, we provide the training, mentorship, and support needed to succeed.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE | NON-NEGOTIABLE

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team-first mentality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently while supporting teammates
• Comfort working with animals and handling pets safely
• Must be available for rotating Saturdays
• Must be 18 years of age or older

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS | NOT A DEAL BREAKER

• Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician experience
• Basic animal or veterinary knowledge
• Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology
• CVT credential
• Experience with phlebotomy
• Knowledge of anesthesia monitoring
• Surgery and dentistry experience
• Experience with EzyVet or similar veterinary software
• Interest in continuing education and professional development
