As our Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting veterinarians and technicians with patient care, animal handling, surgical preparation, and daily hospital operations. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, communication, and compassion are valued every day.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE | NON-NEGOTIABLE
• Prior experience working in a veterinary setting
• Experience handling and restraining animals safely and compassionately
• Basic animal care experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of animal behavior and veterinary medical terminology
• Ability to work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Must be available for rotating Saturdays
• Must be 18 years of age or older
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS | NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• Experience with surgical pack preparation
• Experience assisting with surgical preparation
• Experience supporting Veterinary Technicians in a clinical setting
• Familiarity with EzyVet
• Interest in continuing education and professional development
• Experience in a busy general practice environment
