Apple Country Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our collaborative, compassionate team in Stow, Massachusetts.
We're a full-service small animal hospital providing medical, surgical, dental, preventative, diagnostic, and senior care to pets in our community. Our approach is personal and relationship-driven - we want to know our patients, understand their families, and provide thoughtful care tailored to each pet.
We're looking for someone who already has experience working in a veterinary hospital and is comfortable jumping into a busy GP environment. Just as important, we want someone who communicates well, supports their teammates, and understands how much a positive client experience matters.
What You'll Be Doing
Depending on your experience and skill level, responsibilities may include:
Apple Country offers a broad range of GP services, including wellness and preventative care, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, digital radiology, in-house laboratory testing, geriatric care, behavior consultations and pain management.

And for anyone looking to move away from the traditional veterinary weekend rotation, Apple Country's current hospital hours are Monday through Friday, with the hospital closed Saturdays and Sundays.

REQUIREMENTS
Must be a team player and have compassion for pets and their people
Ability to multi-task
Ability to lift 50 pounds
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience working as a Technician Assistant is preferred but not required
