We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Permanent Veterinarian to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various aspects of veterinary medicine, including surgery, dental care, and general animal healthcare. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume animal hospital, delivering the highest standard of care to our patients.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Veterinarian, your responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting comprehensive physical examinations of animals and diagnosing their health problems.
2. Performing surgical procedures, including spays/neuters, tumor removals, orthopedic surgeries, and other necessary operations.
3. Providing dental care for animals, including cleaning, extracting, and performing oral surgeries.
4. Prescribing and administering medications, vaccines, and treatments.
5. Collaborating with veterinary assistants and technicians to provide top-notch care for animals.
6. Educating pet owners on the overall care and medical procedures, promoting preventative care.
7. Adhering to all regulatory standards and procedures to ensure the health and safety of all animals and staff.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a veterinary practice, with a focus on small animal care.
3. Board Certification in a veterinary specialty is highly desirable.
4. Proven experience in performing various surgical procedures and providing dental care for animals.
5. Strong knowledge of animal science and the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical conditions and procedures to pet owners.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
8. A deep commitment to the ethical treatment of animals.
9. Must have a valid license to practice veterinary medicine.
