    Veterinarian – El Cajon, CA

     

    A well-established small animal practice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative team. This opportunity offers a balanced caseload focused on wellness, dentistry, and surgery, supported by experienced technicians and modern diagnostic equipment. The practice values clinical autonomy, teamwork, and maintaining a sustainable work-life balance while delivering high-quality patient care.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive medical care to companion animal patients

    • Perform routine surgical and dental procedures

    • Conduct physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations

    • Develop and implement treatment plans

    • Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses and recommendations

    • Maintain accurate and compliant medical records

    • Collaborate effectively with technicians and support staff

     

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree

    • Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain licensure)

    • Strong surgical and clinical skills

    • Excellent communication and client education abilities

    • Commitment to high standards of patient care

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
