Animal Medical Center of Plainfield is a modern, high-volume GP/ER hospital in Plainfield, IL, built for comprehensive care under one roof. Here, our GP doctors can focus on wellness, preventive care, medical workups, dentistry, and scheduled appointments while still having an in-hospital emergency team nearby when urgent or complex cases call for collaboration.
The Opportunity:
A GP-only role inside a 24/7 hospital, with emergency support available in-house
Practice top-tier general medicine with access to advanced diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and hospitalization resources
Partner with an in-hospital ER team while keeping your primary focus on scheduled GP care
Join a supportive, flexible, multi-DVM team where work/life balance is a stated priority
At least 3-5 years of DVM experience in a small animal GP setting is required for this role
The Resources:
11+ DVM team in a 24-hour-capable hospital
20 exam rooms and a state-of-the-art medical complex built in 2023
Two surgical suites for general surgery, orthopedics, and emergency surgery
Double dental suite with digital dental x-ray
Large in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, abdominal ultrasound, and echocardiogram options
Canine and feline ICU spaces, with separate isolation options for disease management

Compensation & Benefits:
Starting base salary range: $130,000 - $150,000
Quarterly production bonuses with no negative accrual
