The Role
- Deliver well-rounded small-animal care, including preventive medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft-tissue surgery
- Use on-site radiography, ultrasound, and in-house lab capabilities to guide efficient diagnoses and treatment plans
- Option to participate in orthopedic cases based on interest and experience
- Build trusted client relationships through clear communication and education
- Partner with skilled technicians and client service staff to ensure smooth, compassionate patient care
- Contribute to a collaborative, growth-minded culture and help refine protocols as the practice expands
- Participate in a shared schedule that may include some weekend hours aligned with the practice’s extended access model
Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Rhode Island (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong communication skills, a compassionate, client-centered approach, and a commitment to high-quality medicine
- Comfort with general practice procedures; interest in surgery and ongoing professional development
