The Role
- Lead and develop hospital support teams, fostering a culture of trust, teamwork, accountability, and high-quality service
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance development for client service and clinical support staff
- Manage scheduling, labor goals, workforce planning, and daily operational workflows
- Drive financial performance through budgeting, revenue growth initiatives, expense control, and accurate daily reconciliation
- Oversee vendor relationships, purchasing, inventory control, and facilities maintenance
- Support client service excellence, including handling escalations and service recovery as needed
- Maintain accurate billing and charge capture processes; support insurance-related workflows where applicable
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and relevant regulations
- Partner closely with veterinarians to optimize medical team support and client experience
- Primarily daytime schedule with flexibility for some weekends and holidays
Requirements
- License to practice in Idaho
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 5+ years of office or practice management experience, including 2+ years of supervisory responsibility
- Proficiency with office software and practice management systems; strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication; proven leadership and decision-making abilities
- Comfortable working in a clinical environment around animals; ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed; ability to work some weekends and holidays
- CVPM or MHA preferred
