- Sustainable daily pace of approximately 17–20 patients
- About 2:1 support staff ratio per doctor for strong technical and client-service coverage

The Role
- Provide comprehensive general practice care, including preventive medicine, internal medicine, and client education
- Perform dentistry and soft-tissue surgery with access to on-site surgical and diagnostic resources
- Manage urgent cases as appropriate, with support from trained technical staff
- Interpret diagnostics including radiography, dental radiography, and in-house lab results; coordinate ultrasound when indicated
- Participate in medical recordkeeping, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with colleagues on case management and contribute to protocol refinement
- Support a culture of mentorship and continuous improvement; new graduates are welcome
- An interest in surgery or shelter medicine is valued

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited program
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland, or eligibility to obtain
- Authorization to work in the United States
