Pride Health is hiring a Veteran Employment and Training Specialist to support our client's facility in Manhattan, NY.

Job Details:

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 1 Hour break

Location: Manhattan, NY, 10004

Job Type: Local Contract

Contract Length: 13 weeks with potential of extension

Pay Range: $32-33/hr.

  • Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

  • Build partnerships with employers and training providers to create job opportunities
  • Connect veterans to training, certifications, and career pathways aligned with their goals
  • Conduct outreach, job development, and community engagement activities
  • Assess participant needs and develop individualized employment/training plans
  • Track participant progress, maintain accurate records, and support reporting requirements
  • Provide light case management and ongoing follow-up to ensure employment stability
  • Process training-related documentation and payments
  • Represent the program through networking events and stakeholder engagement

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in workforce development, job placement, or related field preferred:
  • Ability to build relationships with employers, training providers, and community partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required) and HMIS Systems
  • Comfortable with fieldwork across NYC and community outreach
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
