Job Summary

• * Video nystagmography (VNG), Computerized Dynamic Post urography (CDP), and vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (VEMP).
• * Calibrate equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
• * Collect and document patient medical history, current medications, and test results.
• * Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with balance and vestibular disorders.
• * Communicate test results and treatment recommendations to physicians and other healthcare providers.
• * Educate patients on vestibular disorders and treatment options.
• * Maintain accurate records of patient care and test results.
• * Adhere to infection control and safety protocols. Perform routine administrative and clerical duties relating to a clinical service in practice office including:
• * Make patient appointments and maintain appointment records.
• * Assist callers with routine inquiries and schedule appointments.
• * Scan documents to patient medical records/EPIC.
• * Provides assistance and training to others in these areas.
• * Other duties as assigned

  EducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required or associate's degree Audiology preferredCan this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?NoLicenses and CredentialsExperience:Experience in conducting vestibular diagnostic tests, 1-2 years preferred but not requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities- Knowledge of vestibular anatomy and physiology, as well as vestibular diagnostic testing procedures.- Strong technical skills, including the ability to calibrate equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.- Excellent communication and patient care skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.- Ability to operate and maintain various diagnostic equipment.
