Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Vertical Twister/Wetter Operator to set up, operate, and monitor vertical twisting machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure product quality, maintain production efficiency, and follow all safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Pick up wet paper rolls from pushcart
Fasten paper roll on twisting head of machine
Attach paper roll to pick up spool
Start machine and ensure all material is placed
Responsible for completing production cards and keeping all equipment in work area clean
When paper roll is almost finished running on machine splice rolls as needed until winding spool is full.
Must ok with lifting 50 lbs paper rolls constantly throughout shift.
Additional:
Carefully place rolls of paper into machine
Thread paper through various wheels and poly rollers.
Remove finished rolls, place onto crats and deliver finished products to the production team
Pick up empty rollers to begin new process
Qualifications
Previous experience operating twisting/vertical or similar textile/manufacturing machinery preferred
Ability to read and follow work instructions and production orders
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Basic mechanical aptitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals
Good communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to [2550 lbs, adjust as needed]
