Job Description:

The Vertex AI Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing intelligent systems using Vertex AI to automate complex business workflows and enhance data-driven decision-making processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Vertex AI, including Model Garden, Vertex AI Pipelines, and model evaluation.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for BigQuery and Python for ML engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Storage and Vertex AI endpoints.

Required Skills:

• Develop intelligent agents using Vertex AI Agent Builder.
• Leverage the Agent Developer Kit (ADK) for building multi-agent systems.
• Implement tools like MCP Toolbox to connect agents to enterprise databases.
• Utilize Vertex AI for model training, tuning, and deployment.
• Build and optimize streaming data pipelines using Dataflow.
• Ground AI models in live business context using vector engines.
• Active participation and transparent communication in meetings.
• Proactive collaboration and consultative approach in technical environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in financial services or retail for industry-specific data logic.
• Knowledge of privacy and compliance standards for handling PII.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage multi-agent systems for end-to-end business challenges.
• Ensure seamless integration of AI models with BigQuery for feature engineering.
• Execute real-time inference using RunInference API or Vertex AI endpoints.
• Translate high-level business goals into robust technical architectures.
