Logistics CoordinatorTHE ROLEThe Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group (AECG) is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to own inventory management, fulfillment operations, event logistics, and process development for evaluation boards, development kits, modules, and related accessories.
This role will serve as the operational hub between Product Management, Technical Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sales, and external logistics providers. The successful candidate will manage the complete lifecycle of board inventory and fulfillment, including stakeholder communications, shipment tracking, trade show support, inventory forecasting, and the development of self-service tools and processes.
The Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring customers, partners, sales teams, and engineers receive the hardware they need while maintaining accurate visibility into inventory, availability, and delivery timelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESInventory Management- Maintain accurate inventory records for all evaluation boards, development kits, modules, accessories, and demonstration hardware.
- Track inventory across multiple and third-party storage locations.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future requirements based on demand and upcoming business activities.
- Coordinate replenishment activities with Operations, Manufacturing, and Product Teams.
- Conduct periodic inventory audits and ensure inventory accuracy.
Fulfillment & Request Management- Manage incoming requests for evaluation boards, development kits, and demonstration hardware.
- Coordinate approval and allocation processes for hardware requests.
- Prioritize requests based on business objectives and inventory availability.
- Establish and communicate realistic shipment timelines and hardware availability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for fulfillment-related inquiries.
Shipping & Logistics Operations- Create and maintain all shipping documentation, fulfillment forms, and tracking records.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments through approved logistics providers.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and customs requirements.
- Transport hardware and shipment materials to warehouse and fulfillment partners as required.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate delivery progress, delays, and exceptions.
- Resolve shipment issues and coordinate recovery actions when required.
Trade Show & Event Logistics- Manage hardware and collateral logistics for trade shows, conferences, customer events, roadshows, and partner demonstrations.
- Coordinate shipment of demo systems, evaluation boards, booth equipment, marketing materials, and supporting accessories.
- Track event inventory before, during, and after events.
- Coordinate return shipments and inventory reconciliation following events.
- Partner with Technical Marketing and Event teams to ensure hardware arrives on time and event requirements are met.
- Maintain event logistics schedules and communicate readiness status to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting- Provide regular updates regarding inventory levels, incoming hardware, shipment status, availability forecasts, and fulfillment metrics.
- Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms that improve hardware visibility across the organization.
- Manage stakeholder expectations around delivery schedules and inventory constraints.
- Escalate supply or fulfillment risks with recommended mitigation plans.
Process Development & Continuous Improvement- Develop, document, and maintain scalable logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Create standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, and workflow documentation.
- Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency improvements.
- Establish operational metrics and service-level goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce fulfillment cycle time and improve customer experience.
Self-Service Platform Ownership- Develop and maintain a self-service portal for requesting, tracking, and managing evaluation hardware.
- Publish current inventory availability, ordering procedures, logistics guidelines, and shipment status information.
- Maintain documentation related to import/export requirements, customs guidance, shipping restrictions, FAQs, and operational processes.
- Work with business and IT stakeholders to enhance automation and workflow capabilities.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE- 5+ years of experience in logistics, inventory management, fulfillment operations, supply chain, or related operational roles.
- Experience supporting hardware products, semiconductor products, development kits, evaluation boards, or technical equipment.
- Experience coordinating logistics for trade shows, customer demonstrations, conferences, or marketing events.
- Understanding of international shipping, customs documentation, and import/export regulations.
- Experience with inventory management systems, ERP platforms, CRM tools, or fulfillment software.
- Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
- Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience will be considered.
LOCATION- San Jose, CA required.
- Position requires occasional movement and handling of evaluation hardware, demonstration equipment, and shipment materials.
