Verification Specialist Lead

The Auto Verifications Team Lead supports the success of the Verifications team by providing day-to-day guidance, monitoring quality and compliance, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and performance. This role combines team leadership, operational support, and quality oversight to help ensure exceptional customer experience while maintaining company policies and regulatory requirements.

In the Role

• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to drive performance and development.
• Monitor quality, compliance, and process adherence through account reviews, reporting, and call evaluations.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Partner with leadership to support training, quality assurance, and team development initiatives.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and performance insights to leaders and business partners.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to support consistent decision-making.
• Support special projects, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in verifications, lending operations, financial services, or a related field.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make sound recommendations.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred:

• Experience in auto finance or lending operations.
• Quality assurance, audit, compliance, or process improvement experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
• Experience with call monitoring or workforce management systems.
