At SingleSource, our Property Preservation team depends on a strong, reliable vendor panel to get work done right, from general field service vendors to specialists like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, pest control, and land survey. We're hiring a Vendor Recruiting & Onboarding associate to own the full vendor lifecycle: identifying coverage gaps, recruiting and onboarding new vendors, and assisting in managing the ongoing performance and compliance of our active panel. This is a great fit for someone who's equally comfortable building relationships and holding people accountable.
How You'll Contribute in this Role:
- Identify market coverage gaps and execute targeted recruiting campaigns for general field service vendors and specialty trades.
- Manage vendor recruiting pipelines: Applications, interest forms, referral leads, crisis recruit requests, and outreach follow-up.
- Screen prospective vendors for service capability, coverage, experience, pricing, capacity, and overall panel fit.
- Guide vendors through onboarding requirements: signed documents, W-9, general liability insurance, background checks, and other compliance items.
- Coordinate with compliance and admin teams on profile setup, compliance review, and activation.
- Provide new vendors with introductory training on company expectations, portal usage, documentation and photo standards, bid expectations, and payment basics.
- Maintain accurate recruiting and onboarding records, and transition newly activated vendors to order fulfillment.
- Monitor vendor performance trends: Scorecards, on-time completion, quality, client feedback, and flag coaching or panel concerns to leadership.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendor questions outside day-to-day order handling, including coverage, pricing, and payment process questions
What We're Looking For
- Experience in vendor management, field services, property preservation, mortgage servicing, or a related industry.
- Comfort managing competing priorities: recruiting campaigns, onboarding, and performance calls all happening at once.
- Confidence having direct, sometimes difficult conversations with vendors around performance and accountability.
- Strong relationship-building skills paired with a willingness to enforce standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sharp attention to detail for maintaining accurate compliance and performance records.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-moving, high-volume environment.
