Value Added Distributors is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Vendor Inventory Driver to join our driving team in Rockford, IL. Overtime may be required as business needs arise. This position includes daily travel to customer locations, with trips of up to two hours one way.In this Vendor Inventory Driver role, you will collaborate with internal teams and sales staff to ensure that customer expectations for service, product quality, delivery, and fulfillment are consistently met. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and managing inventory at customer sites, maintaining accurate records, and generating replenishment orders as needed. Each day will involve reviewing inventory levels, planning and executing delivery routes, and visiting customer locations to restock inventory and support key contacts. You will foster customer relationships through on-site support and the review of VMI reports, while also keeping thorough documentation. As challenges arise, you will coordinate with branch management to address inventory discrepancies and optimize supply chain operations.
