    Vending Service Technician     

     
    POSITION SUMMARY

    Set up new equipment and maintain the units through regular servicing work and repairs in the market. 

     
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
     
    • Set up new equipment in the market.
    • Follow up maintenance check-up to be sure equipment is working correctly.
    • Check and make sure that correct flavors and/or drinks are in machine.
    • Repair broken equipment on location.
    • Ask questions to determine if customer is satisfied with equipment.
    • Vehicle maintenance.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
    • Work well with others in a team-orientated atmosphere.
    • Other related duties as assigned.
     
     
    REQUIREMENTS
     
    • 18 years or older.
    • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Insurable 10-year driving record.
    • Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.
    • Provide your own small hand tools including screwdrivers, wrenches and plyers.
    • Must possess thorough understanding of MEM process and procedures.
     
     
    ABILITIES
     
    • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
    • Review and adhere to all Pee Dee Food Service policies, including safety.
    • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and multi-tasking skills.
    • Must be self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

     
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
     
    • Must be physically and mentally able to successfully perform the essential elements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
    • The ability to hear, talk, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
    • Vision requirements to do this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
    • This position requires sitting most of the time during the shift.
