As our Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor, you'll help keep that promise alive. When the vehicles are safe, ready, and reliable, the whole company works better and customers feel it.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of vehicle maintenance.
  • Schedule preventive maintenance and repairs for fleet vehicles and equipment.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and provide technical guidance to technicians.
  • Monitor vehicle downtime and implement strategies to improve fleet reliability.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, service histories, and inspection reports.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for parts procurement and outsourced repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and transportation laws.
  • Prepare maintenance budgets and monitor expenditures.
  • Investigate vehicle breakdowns and recommend corrective actions.
  • Respond to emergency repair needs when required.


What You'll Earn

This role pays $50,000 to $80,000 per year. You'll also have health insurance after the probationary period, paid vacations, continued training, and advancement or promotional opportunities.


Performance Bonus

Common bonus targets include:

  • 5–10% of annual salary

  • Fleet uptime/availability
  • Maintenance budget performance
  • Safety records/Rconrds keeping
  • Preventive maintenance compliance
  • Employee retention
  • DOT/OSHA compliance


Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in fleet or vehicle maintenance, including supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Proficiency with fleet maintenance software and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license.
