Vehicle Electronics Installer / Technician

Location: North Oklahoma City, OK

Pay: $21.00/hr

Employment Type: Full-Time

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Vehicle Electronics Installer/Technician for a growing local company in North Oklahoma City.

This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined and enjoys hands-on work with vehicle electronics, wiring, and equipment installation. The primary responsibility is installing two-way radio communication systems and related equipment into a variety of vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Install two-way radios in cars, trucks, and fleet vehicles
• Mount and secure radios, brackets, and communication equipment
• Install antennas and route wiring through vehicle interiors and engine compartments
• Read and follow wiring diagrams and installation instructions
• Troubleshoot electrical and installation issues
• Ensure all installations are completed safely and professionally
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment

Qualifications:

• Previous auto body, automotive, vehicle accessory, or electrical installation experience required
• Personal automotive project experience may be considered in place of professional experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with wiring, electrical components, and hand tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions around vehicles

Preferred Experience:

• Car audio installation
• Automotive electronics
• Fleet vehicle upfitting
• GPS, radio, camera, or security system installation
• 12-volt electrical systems
