Job Overview To provide technical support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for the Vehicle Control systems of the FrontRunner Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) as part of the Global Support team. This role ensures reliable autonomous operations by diagnosing Autonomous Truck (AT) control-related issues, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvements in system performance and safety.

Key Job Responsibilities • Correspond technical inquiries related to AT from AHS regional support team. • Provide immediate investigation support for incidents involving AT in customer sites. • Assist with various short- and mid-term projects for AHS. • Provide technical support through tasks assigned in the Zendesk Ticketing System while complying with established Service Level Agreements. • Assist in the creation and updating of AHS-related documentation, including: • Release notes • Operator manuals • Parts and service news • Flash news • And other related documentation through assigned tasks. • Collaborate with various OEM organizations and regional teams to provide support, including Vehicle Control (e.g., FADC Team in Japan and Engineering and QA Team of PMO).

Required Skills • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mechanical, or Electrical, or STEM-related field, or 3 years of experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, testing, or similar technical duties and customer support for heavy equipment in a mining environment. • Ability to interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics. • Ability to follow and write technical instructions. • Provide solutions using critical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Ability to travel up to 25. • Standard business travel consists of a two- to three-week international trip to support deployment activities while working with Komatsu regional personnel.

Desired Skills • FrontRunner and/or DISPATCH system knowledge. • High-level analytical and troubleshooting skills on mining equipment, especially haul trucks. • Windows, Linux, Unix systems. • AHS hardware structure and function. • Database structure or query basics.
