About the Role

This role is essential for maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency in vegetation management operations. You will perform tasks ranging from equipment maintenance to chemical treatments, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company protocols.
  • Participate in and successfully complete all assigned safety and environmental training.
  • Perform maintenance on equipment such as tractors, mowers, and sprayers.
  • Conduct routine spraying and chemical treatment of unwanted vegetation.
  • Monitor inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, notifying when reordering is needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve problems and develop solutions.
  • Provide input for weekly reporting and communicate effectively with the team.

Minimum Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in utility vegetation management or large-scale agricultural equipment operation.
  • Adaptability to organizational changes and new requirements.
  • Self-starter with decision-making capabilities without specific direction.
  • Effective time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's license with an acceptable MVR history.

Physical Requirements

  • Work in hazardous conditions, including exposure to bloodborne pathogens and extreme temperatures.
  • Possibility of providing first aid/CPR, requiring relevant certification.
  • Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Comply with all safety standards and procedures.

Work Environment

  • Travel up to 10% of the time.
