VDOT IT Governance Analyst 3Client: Virginia Department of TransportationDuration: 12+ MonthsLocation: Richmond, VAMode of work: HybridThe Analyst will also assist in issue resolution, operationalizing Governance practices, creating and socializing IT Governance artifacts (such as IT audit responses, control processes etc).This position will also assist in extending the scope of ITD Governance, Security Architecture and Process Improvement.Responsibilities:The IT Governance Analyst is responsible for providing support to IT services, and will align IT investments with enterprise business goals, as well as Agency guidance.Support technical review and compliance reporting for IT Change Management and Project Delivery processes.Support technical writing and review for the division’s flagship governance documents and policies.Support security policy interpretation, reporting and training.Support IT Audit Response and audit finding remediation effortsProvide input into the augmentation of a governance model for ITD’s critical processes.Qualifications:Demonstrated knowledge or experience in IT Audit response.Demonstrated knowledge in policy/technical writing.Experience with drafting business or executive-centered briefs, presentations, and reportsKnowledge in SharePoint online repository management preferred.Knowledge of IT Audit and Compliance response processesUnderstanding of IT Governance and compliance best practices, tools, with willingness to learn Commonwealth or Agency ImplementationAbility to work independently, creatively, and analytically in a fast-paced, team environmentAbility to balance time and effort across multiple projects while supporting emergent needs with strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
