Job Summary:
The VDC Technical Instructor is a technical educator responsible for elevating the competency, efficiency, and proficiency of detailing teams within the business. Working within the Construction Operations Development department as part of the VDC Enablement Team, this role focuses on the execution of training programs for detailers, delivering foundational training to new team members and continuous technical enrichment to existing staff. This position, which currently reports to the VDC Enablement Manager, is essential for fostering software proficiency and ensuring detailing accuracy to meet the evolving needs of the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver technical training to newly onboarded detailers utilizing a standardized curriculum.
Conduct workshops and continuous education modules for existing detailing staff to elevate software proficiency and detailing accuracy.
Actively monitor detailing outputs during training and support sessions to ensure consistent adoption of company best practices.
Enforce standardization across all regional VDC teams to maintain quality and consistency.
Collaborate with the Enablement Team to provide content direction and support curriculum development.
Support staff through enrichment programs designed to improve overall technical competency.
Troubleshoot complex modeling issues and software challenges to support detailing teams.
Perform other duties as assigned to support construction operations and development goals.

Travel to other office locations, project sites, and trade conferences is required 25-75% of the time.
Hours:
This is an exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm as scheduled with the position''s supervisor. Work outside of regular hours may occasionally be necessary to meet business needs.

Competitive Wages:
$106,000 to $143,000 annually. Applicants, please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee''s total compensation.
