    Position Summary

    Jost Chemical is seeking a talented VDC Technician to join our Engineering team in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and design documentation that support facility operations, capital projects, and infrastructure improvements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create detailed technical drawings and 3D models for structural, process utility, piping, electrical, and facility-related systems.
    • Develop construction drawings from engineering specifications, sketches, and field data.
    • Review and interpret project specifications and standards.
    • Perform field investigations and gather measurements for as-built documentation.
    • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and technical staff.
    • Maintain CAD drawing files and document control systems.
    • Implement drawing revisions and support facility upgrades.
    • Support National CAD Standards and company drafting standards.

    Qualifications

    • Associate degree in CAD Technology or related field.
    • Three or more years of industry-related drafting/design experience.
    • Experience creating andmaintaining3D models.
    • Proficiencywith AutoCAD and Revit.
    • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications.
